On Halloween, kids dress up in costumes and get lots of free candy: 万圣节, 小朋友会打扮成不同的人物，还能拿到很多免费的糖

There are pretty big childhood differences between China and America: 中国和美国的童年还是有很大的差别

Childhood: 童年

When we were kids, we'd wear a red scarf and join the Young Pioneers: 我们小时候会带红领巾，加入少先队

• Cute, adorable: 可爱
• Lovely: 美好的
• Sweet: 甜
  
• Precious: 珍贵，宝贵

Brits tend to use the term "lovely" to describe children, whereas Americans like to use "cute" and "adorable": 英国人更爱用lovely, 美国人爱用cute, adorable来形容小孩子

He or she looks just like you: 他跟你长得一模一样

You look a lot alike: 你们长得很像
