- How is the food? 菜好吃吗?

可是英语却要用“love".
" |7 m' {' l& K; c r/ n/ `如果用“I like it", 反而容易造成误解! & g7 ^9 J6 x; M1 C, A

总之:

+ I' r; V d; ^! ^9 K9 I5 @My parents don't really say it to me either: 我爸爸妈妈好像也不会跟我说 " r( }% {6 B) D2 z- V* [! w& J; D
But I say "mommy loves you" to my sons all the time: 但是,我倒常用英语跟孩子说“mommy loves you"
1 ]$ L0 I/ d; E/ ?- i9 X- qI don't really say it in Chinese though, feels really awkward: 但是我不太用中文跟他们说“妈妈爱你”,也觉得很尴尬 @9 ~" i2 m2 T' z
Maybe when it's not your mother tongue, it's easier to say: 有可能不是自己的母语,反而更容易说

. D" n2 r8 \( s7 k+ e, ~不过有些美国人也觉得对家人说"I love you"有点儿别扭

WASPs don't say it as much: 英国血统的美国人好像没那么常说“I love you"

' ]. r% r4 n j/ ^说完love, 说hate 中文“恨”是个特别强烈的字,日常很少用。

- Traffic is so bad. I hate it! 路真堵,烦死了!

To hate a person? 用在人身上呢? Be careful with using "hate" on people: 用在人身上,要特别谨慎
